Rare for commercial projects, Maresca & Associates, Architects was given the prestigeous Carolopolis Award by the Preservation Society of Charleston for its thoughtful restoration of 169 King Street, home of Tucker Payne Antiques and Ike Behar, a men's clothing shop.

These photos were taken the day the cornices, handcrafted by the talented folks at Campellsville Industries, were put in place by the expert team of builders at Palmetto Crafstmen .

The result was an unsolicited full-page photo by Squire Fox for a Travel + Leisure feature on Charleston's own Stephen Colbert.
